Thirty-six inches long, the 3ft Aluminum Box Truss handles the in-between spans that standard lengths miss. It is a section of 12″ box bolt truss that bolts end to end with other lengths, so a 5ft plus a 3ft makes 8ft, or a 3ft on its own becomes a short leg for a low frame. It also works as a crossbar on narrow arches.
Exhibitors build truss-framed counters and display bases from 3ft sections, which put a work surface or graphic near standing height. At AmericasMart showrooms they form the legs of low product frames. Over a narrow entry, two 8ft uprights topped by a 3ft crossbar make a slim gateway. Join them with 6 Way Silver Corner Block pieces and a 2×2 Steel Truss Base under each leg.
Paired with other sections it reaches 8ft with a 5ft piece, 9ft with a 6ft piece, or 11ft with an 8ft piece.
Yes. Set on a steel truss base, a 3ft section works as a short upright for counters, low frames and display bases.
It uses a 12″ box profile, the same as the other box bolt truss lengths, so all of them connect.
